Yes the grounds are immaculate & very well maintained. However i arrived on Christmas Eve at 2:37pm to find the gates locked. There was never anything posted or mailed out to state they would be closing so early. My daughter had gone at around 1:30 and the gates were already closed. I completely understand the grounds keeper and caretaker would like to be home early on Christmas Eve to be with their families but i wanted to be with my family as well! The decent, kind thing to do would be to just advise people of exactly what tone you would be closing! Of all the days of the year Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, are the 2 days most families go to pay their respects. Simply stating varied hours is not sufficient for a cemetery, a mall yes but not a cemetery, that should be able to plan ahead.
The best place for the eternal rest, both of my Parents are buried there I feel very much relaxed everytime I visit them. Mama "tita"and Papa "pollon"
Very clean and pleasant to visit. Employees are courteous and polite when being asked questions.
Well kept and clean. They have holes to put flowers in at each grave. Some of the caps for the holes were easy to remove but ours was stuck in the ground because of dirt and plant growth. After trying to remove it for 30 minutes with my bare hands and a knife, someone came out as soon as I had got it out. Told me next time to go inside the building and ask for help because they have tools. Would have been five stars if it was easy to remove in the first place.
Was drinking something and had something small to eat because of medical reasons and we're approached by the manager of the establishment as he put it and told us that we are not allowed to picnic as he put it and that there's rules and regulations that are stated in the front so he told us only prayers are allowed first off I'm not Catholic second off the person who's buried there was not viewed as a Catholic as well I felt as though we were being singled out for the way that we look and I don't know maybe because of the size of me I'm not exactly a skinny person I felt like Ranger Smith after Yogi Bear then they leave just come back again and start giving me more issues over the fact that I had my phone and then he starts telling me that videos and pictures are not allowed I went there because my husband is buried there not to be having somebody interrupting my time after how far we drive to get there to be scolded and told eat at home the food police I found it to be really rude the sarcasm in my voice I'm sure he did not like but I did not like the fact that he was interrupting my time with my husband I went there to spend time with my husband it's hard enough dealing with the fact that he's gone and taking the children there to spend time with him they themselves sit in that office and I'm sure they're having their lunch in the office maybe they should look at the rules and regulations also no picnicking it should apply to everybody the cemetery that I have my parents in was not like this place nor is the Hollywood Cemetery this place is in the middle of nowhere literally in the desert and we were told not even to drink anything it's the desert him and his clipboard and his rules thanks for ruining our afternoon this establishment needs to really think twice about approaching people while they're with their loved one who has passed that should be on the rules and regulations to back off
So my husband is buried here we go visit and
