AVHS may not be the most wealthy of the schools but granted it's 100+ years old by now. The school is not as bad as everyone says it is, the other people complaining about it have no commen sense once so ever. I have already graduated AVHS and through all my 4 years I can say I'm proud to be a lope. Sure, we don't have a fancy campus and stuff like other school, but other people that say it's ghetto, we'll news for you other highschool are not much better, I'll bet my cards and say that all the kids that wrote bad reviews are the juvinal delinquents of the school. Plain and simple. The school is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, it is what you put into it.
I don’t really like this school because I got to wake up early every day and I’m a 9th grade this year I had to wait 3 in half years to get out of here.

I can only tell you one thing that I really miss all of my friends that I grow up with all went to that school I did learn a lot there but it's to bad that I did not get to graduate with my class of 1985 because the school said I needed 150 more credits to graduate so I quit school and got a job making $10. Per hour but I thank tohem for the opportunity to learn something
